House Rules & Important Information To help keep Alpenhaus safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone, please review the following before booking: Minimum age: The primary guest making the reservation must be 24 years of age or older. Maximum occupancy: A maximum of 5 guests is permitted at the cabin in accordance with county occupancy requirements. No parties or events are permitted. Fireplace: Please use manufactured fire logs only. Do not burn real firewood in the fireplace. Trash: All garbage must be securely placed inside trash bags before being placed in the outdoor trash container. Our private trash service removes bags by hand and does not empty the trash can mechanically. A $100 fee will be charged for loose, unbagged garbage. Please lock the outdoor trash-can lid after every use. Bears occasionally visit the area and can scatter unsecured garbage throughout the property. If our cleaning crew must clean up garbage scattered by wildlife due to the container being left unsecured, a $200 cleanup fee will apply. Septic system: Please flush toilet paper only. Do not flush feminine hygiene products, wipes (including those labeled “flushable”), paper towels, or other products down the toilets.
